Mr Mark Berry
Mark has 30 years of diverse geological experience including exploration, project assessment, feasibility, development, open pit and underground operations, management, R&D and consulting.
He has worked on projects around the world covering...
Mineral resource estimates are the precursor of ore reserves and underpin the technical and ?nancial assessment of mining projects. This workshop is designed to provide management and senior technical staff with insights into best practice, common problems and areas of greatest risk in Mineral Resource estimates. It will present key learnings from AMC’s extensive audits of mineral resource estimates in the metalliferous industry.
Topics covered will include drill program design and drilling, surveying, sample preparation and analytical techniques, logging and related processes, QA/QC processes and data management, geological interpretation and domaining, geostatistics, resource estimation, classi? cation, public reporting and assessment of geological risk.
Participants will learn about:
The nature and importance of all inputs into mineral resource estimates
Fundamentals of resource estimation using case studies and examples
Assessing uncertainty and risk
Requirements for resource classi? cation and how to apply them
How Mineral Resource estimates feed into ore reserves and project economics
