Mineral resource estimates are the precursor of ore reserves and underpin the technical and ?nancial assessment of mining projects. This workshop is designed to provide management and senior technical staff with insights into best practice, common problems and areas of greatest risk in Mineral Resource estimates. It will present key learnings from AMC’s extensive audits of mineral resource estimates in the metalliferous industry.
Topics covered will include drill program design and drilling, surveying, sample preparation and analytical techniques, logging and related processes, QA/QC processes and data management, geological interpretation and domaining, geostatistics, resource estimation, classi? cation, public reporting and assessment of geological risk.
