One Health Initiative: Promoting collaboration between human and animal health

Recognizing the interrelationship between humans, animals and the environment is critical in today's ever-changing landscape of animal health. This one-day interactive course aims to foster cross-disciplinary and cross-sectoral partnerships around the challenges at the cross-junctions of animal health, human health and the environment. Strategies to implement cross-species disease surveillance and control efforts in public health will be discussed. The workshop will be focused on key topics which aim to reinforce the core essence of One Health: to promote, improve and defend the health and well-being of all species by integrating health into a single approach.
